I aspire to make film-poems by way of my passions for writing, singing, songwriting, acting, and photography. In my art–whichever form it takes–I seek hints, traces, suggestions, and revelations of the essence of life as I experience it in my everyday life, in word and in deed. I seek moments, gestures, and details that remind me and teach me of our spiritual, intellectual, and physical beings as human beings. I want to know whom I, and whom we might be or become when external distractions and devices are given less importance and prominence. Without defining it, I want to suggest what love, compassion, tenderness, honesty, grace, passion, desire, longing, inspiration, joy, peace, and steadfastness might be. I want to make films that are like songs that cannot be explained, but rather stir the heart, soul, mind, and body of each person who sees and hears them–like a beautiful melody.
