For over 30 years,  INTERLINK is a program coordinated by MFA students – for – grad students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).

INTERLINK is an interdisciplinary graduate student run visiting artist program that focuses on bringing in local and/or emerging artists, curators, and writers to engage directly and intimately with the graduate student population.

Interlink lectures are informal and vary in form from one visitor to the next. The lecture is open to the entire SAIC community. In addition to a public presentation, our guest conducts six studio visits with current MFA graduate students.

Additionally, some of our INTERLINK visitors will participate in interviews (in the form of video/audio/typed) found on this website. The interview is a way to share discussions and content to those that could not attend a lecture or were not one of six to receive a studio visit.
