Dana Nechmad’s work focuses on the power of the body and its sexuality, a subject that dominates both the personal and the social spheres. Her fascination is not with the beauty of the flesh but with the emotion it arouses. In her practice she moves between painting, drawing, textile manipulation, embroidery and video. Her work was showed in numerous group shows in Chicago, Tel Aviv and Florence.
