Durational performance by Parvin Peivandi.

Parvin Peivandi’s art is influenced by the Iranian Sufi Poetry and Deleuze reworking of new materialism. In her performance, Peivandi, expresses a nomadic journey of becoming by transforming left over materials such as scraps of metal and Iranian rug and fusing them together to make simple sculptures as registrars of the moments and events. She is welcoming people to sit down on her nomadic rugs and experience the tactility of material, the journey, and folds.
