I am constantly wondering about the time in which we currently exist. Many times I feel trapped in an unrealistic world made up of past memories that I want to return to and the future that I imagine. I live as if wandering in a dream. I draw pictures that are guided by faint dreams while still containing the daily landscape of reality. Using a motif of my own time spent fantasizing as the starting point of my work, I attempt to find the innocence, imagination, and unforgettable sensibility of childhood.Through this process I feel the emptiness of the mind — the unknown world that transcends fantasy and reality, memories and dreams.
