I am that cottonous calico dream just leaving you;
Rolling wheat fields, Sunday dinner,
kids on fast bikes in the twilight to corner stores
picking up milk for mom.
Oh but touch me, bend me,
change me, split me open;
I’m so much more,
underneath.

A muted cotton patchwork quilt that splits to reveal shocking ribbons of neon nylon infrastructure, indicating how to properly fold the object.
