These modulations present an infinite number of combinations\u2014from legible to abstract\u2014communicating as both image and language. The combination of <i>SAIC 150<\/i>, the two supporting typefaces\u2014(<i>Larish Neue<\/i> and <i>Gotham)<\/i>\u2014and selected imagery form the visual language that is the 150th Anniversary visual system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The 150th Anniversary visual system showcases the spirit of SAIC as a rigorous, open, expressive, ever-evolving, ever-changing, exciting, and engaging art and design school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">When we look back at the legacy and impact that SAIC, (its artists and its faculty) have made, we see influence; we see change; we see risk-taking; we see energy; we see excitement; we see beauty; we see hard work; most importantly, we see fearlessness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The School of the Art Institute of Chicago&#8217;s (SAIC) 150th Anniversary visual system is a dynamic identity developed to reflect and represent the history, legacy, and current energy of creative makers and art educators.
