Courtesy of the artist.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Conversations at the Edge kicks off its Fall 2013 season with pioneering Mexican video artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vdb.org\/artists\/ximena-cuevas\">Ximena Cuevas<\/a> on September 19!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Other highlights this season include a rare live performance by filmmaker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.takaiimura.com\/\">Takahiko Iimura<\/a> and Japanese sound artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adachitomomi.com\/n\/biography.html\">Tomomi Adachi <\/a>(9\/26); an appearance by LA-based artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.erincosgrove.com\/\">Erin Cosgrove<\/a> with an epic animated feature (10\/3); a peek at SAIC visiting faculty <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kurthentschlager.com\/\">Kurt Hentschl\u00e4ger&#8217;s<\/a> practice and process (10\/10); and new work and performances by SAIC alumna <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jodiemack.com\/\">Jodie Mack<\/a> (10\/31).<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re also excited to screen special previews of new features by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brettkashmere.com\/\">Brett Kashmere <\/a>(10\/24) and <a href=\"http:\/\/tirtzaeven.info\/\">Tirtza Even<\/a> (11\/14).<\/p>\n<p>Catch Ghost Anthology (10\/17), a program that explores the history of Argentine experimental film, curated by Buenos-Aires based filmmaker <a href=\"http:\/\/laregioncentral.blogspot.com\/\">Pablo Mar\u00edn<\/a>, and Now: The Body and the Screen (11\/7) a program organized by new media artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jennifer-chan.com\/\">Jennifer Chan<\/a> that explores the relation between the body and the screen in contemporary performance and web-based video.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the full line-up <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.saic.edu\/cate\/fall-2013-season\/\">here<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conversations at the Edge kicks off its Fall 2013 season with pioneering Mexican video artist Ximena Cuevas on September 19!
