We’re embarking on install day number 2, and it’s full of excitement. Aside from the extraordinary work that’s coming in every day, what’s most impressive is the flexibility with which the designers and artists face the last minute changes our unique and surprising space requires.
Maybe we should have named the show Constraints rather than Coordinates. 28 S Wabash, beautiful and challenging, is throwing wrenches into every carefully laid plan. The graduate students are rolling with the punches, proving that constraints make us more innovative. That’s the mantra, anyway!
When the tried and true unistrut fails us, we’ll find another way to make the work float.
There’s no doubt it’ll be a stunning show.
