Jay Hyun Kim is pursuing a MDes in designed objects at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. He has acquired BFA in industrial design at Rochester Institute of Technology. He has pursued professional careers where he worked with cross-functional teams as an industrial designer with strong 3D and 2D design skills. Also, since he has deep interest in manufacturing and materials, he has been studying this field by collecting information from various books and web sources. Due to his academic training and personal practices, he has gained distinct perspective to identify fundamental problems for design solutions. Jay Kim believes that technology has a disruptive quality for human health. Today his work envisions new innovative solutions.
