Drowning This sculpture piece expresses my understanding of transformation from childhood to adulthood. The black paint spreads upwards and leaking out from the doll’s body is the representation of devoured childhood. The visual message is telling viewers — the doll placed in front of the trash can is a childhood that is being gradually forgotten and devoured.
