The Enrichment Fund encourages creative risk-taking within the Master of Arts in Arts Administration & Policy (MAAAP) program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The goal of the Enrichment Fund Grant (EFG) is to invest in a diversity of projects that further research development and the advancement of students in the professional world.

To apply, please complete the application and submit to enrich@saic.edu with the subject line “Fall_24_EFG_Last Name.”

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 16th, 2024, at 11:59 pm.


SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Relevance of project to applicant’s thesis, coursework, or MAAAP Department/SAIC students’ interests
  • Feasibility of project scope, timeline, and budget
  • Project connects to the MAAAP department interests

ELIGIBILITY

  • Individuals and groups enrolled in the MAAAP Program can apply for the grant
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credits at point of application
  • Previous grant recipients are not eligible
  • Projects that were completed 6 months prior to the deadline are eligible
  • Grant money can be used for projects that will start and end within one year of the application deadline

FINAL REPORT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grantee must complete the project within twelve months of receiving funds
  • Grantee must deliver a report of their project to the board within twelve months of receiving funds
  • The Enrichment Fund requires two reports on all of its grants: a narrative report and a financial report.
    • This includes project results and actual expenses covered by the grant.
  • Specific guidelines for the report will be provided to every grantee.
