Concept | My current research is focused on the roots within New Orleans Voodoo and the African American community and how they relate to my family personally. I then focused on the Binding aspect of a spell and wanted to create basically a walking Ritual that touches the senses. The movement capture and the repetition of passing down traditions are extremely important
Bio | Adreain Guillory is a junior in the Fashion Core Program. A goal of his is to study and curate a bunch of techniques and skills to help him make a splash in the fashion industry after graduation. It is very important to him to create a space within the industry for people of color so that there’s more inclusion and representation since his work frequently focuses on that.
