“Dead Man’s Laundry”

Concept | This garment grew from a collection focused on the wearer’s experience of the garment. Exploring the way my bipolar disorder physically manifests in my body, I sought ways to force the wearer of the garment into the same physical experiences. Through excessive layering, weight, ruffles, and constriction, this garment presents the physical manifestation of my bipolar.
