Concept | Generational journey beginning with the initial generation that immigrates to the US and ending with the first born American.
Bio | Having been born in America while having family born in another country, it has not sparked any interest in acknowledging until arriving to SAIC. While taking fashion classes at the school, the importance of self-awareness caused the yearn for wanting to incorporate ethical and historical background in my practice. My pieces create a story that combine both my identities while embracing them simultaneously.
