“Heroine Stuck in Television”
Concept | This is the costume for a heroine who was sucked into an analog television and cannot escape. She can see all people watching tv from this ubiquitous television place. She has day-to-day duties to keep the tv going so that she stays alive, but lives an anxious and alienated life. It does not help that her form awkwardly becomes more and more influenced by her analog electronic surroundings.
Bio | I am from Rhode Island and am very interested in costume design. I supplement this with screenprinting techniques. I also love making videos which has inspired my project.
