“It’s A Good Start”
Concept | The process and growth in body image acceptance. Learning to eventually go against societal pressures, the process begins in adolescence. The first stage is realizing bodies are a certain way on all influencing platforms, and allowing that to effect who you are, changing you to be someone you are not. The next stage is realizing becoming someone you are not meant to be is in fact draining and unfulfilling, so the mind begins to figure out the things that make you special, and perhaps that is okay that those things are different than what is shown in society. The final stage, which is ever-growing and developing, is the understanding that your body is a divine intention deserving of all the love you have to offer.
