“Repercussion of Contorted Mindset”
Concept | My concept is about the twisted perspective and the discomfort from the people as I study abroad. Although I have moved around the different states, couple words have been chased me such as disregard, discomfort, despise, discrimination, and etc. However, recently, not only me facing this problem but also lots of people feel or experience this situation irrespective of gender, age, and race. To change the twisted perspective and to show the invisible harm and pain, I decide to make it as a visible form.
Bio | My name is Soo Jin Park and I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I decided to study abroad in 2008 and it was my first time to step in the United State by myself. This is my last year at SAIC. As I liked fashion since I was very young, I am so happy and glad to graduate SAIC as a fashion student.
