This project is named My Coral Story. I was inspired by my misunderstanding of a coral decoration in my childhood. When I was a child, my father brought me back a white coral specimen, then he put some colorful shells on it. That was the first time I saw a coral. For me at that time, this coral decor was what a real coral reef looked like.

The white coral that sits on the wooden wine cabinet at home, along with the brown leather sofa, the wooden furniture, and the velvet curtains that filter the light to become warm and orange; these are my strongest memory of the house that I have been grown in and now has been sold.

So, I tried to recreate the undersea’s image that this coral gave me and retell this funny and innocent story in this project.
