This project is created with the elements of my aesthetics- structural, architectural, and Minimalism. I chose white as the primary color to eliminate any distractions from the focal points of the negative spaces. My goal was to let the garment absorb both light and shadow.
House, Fashion, and the Pursuit of Unhinge
This collection is the study of the negative spaces between the human body and the garment. I constructed the relationship in the definition of unhinging and dysfunctional. It also replicates the distance between the light and shadow. I consolidated this piece with the inspiration from the Greek Myths- the wings of Icarus reflect my relationship with fashion.
