As a fashion student, I am interested in making stylish and easy-wearing garments,. I am trying best to bring more art elements from other domains into wearable garments. I think there is a strong connection between fashion and cultures. So I am working to creating designs that can make people feel connecting between them and garments, it could be personal experience, cultural identity, or nature preference.

This project is my exploration of Daoist thought and five
Elements theory. I was in a bad mental state at the time
that I started this project, so I turned to Daoism to try to
find inner peace and reconcile with myself. And I decided
to continue working on this theme. In the process of
reading the Daolist scriptures, I realized the philosophical
thoughts contained in Daoism, and developed a strong
interest in the basic system view of Daoism: Yin-Yang,
and five elements theory.
Daoism emphasizes the relationship between humans
and nature, humans and their spiritual world. The five
elements represent nature and the movement of all things.
Therefore, the movement of the five elements to achieve a
dynamic balance is essential.
Through this project, I want to show the connection and
rules between humans and the external world and nature,
and convey the unity of man and nature. As the project
progressed, I myself also gradually found a state of peace.
The balance of Yin and Yang and the five elements is
constantly broken and rebuilt. But the whole of it has
always maintained an order, perhaps we call this order
Tian Di Fa Ze (the law of heaven and earth)
