As a Mexican- American artist from Los Angeles, California, the dynamic strength of my focus conceptualizes capturing images, and design work choreographed and reconstructed to fit on a proportional body or body-like form. I extrude intimate moments of self discovery and self discipline by intertwining contradicting issues that focus on the history and aftereffects of trauma within society bringing emotional awareness associated in society. My work builds on narration through the mediums of design in fashion, photography, and contextual film practices.

My work within the context of fashion explores the conceptual ideas of exploring ways to communicate the power of self control, experience, and expression to build a genuine reaction from the audience. As a result, the audience is welcome to bring their input or experience to create a conversation of dialogue between the artist and the viewer. Often, my work is used to represent myself and experiences as well as others. I use my privilege as an artist to represent those who are isolated, judged, and labeled into society’s checkbox. My work is often used to contradict society norms, within the parameters in portions of bodies, deconstructing what is known to be the human body to an exaggerated form.
