Tristan

This collection is an exploration of the nature of ancient greek/roman architecture and sculpture and how the breathtaking details carved out of marble and materials alike correlate to the body in terms of fashion. With influences as diverse as Greek busts of the goddess Artemis to well preserved fountain moldings from Ancient Rome, these garments bring life to and make modern the marble the were inspired by.

My relationship to these greek and roman fashions comes from a time where I was not at peace with the structure of my face. It was only after a handful of times having my facial features being compared to Greek and Roman statues that i felt closer to the hardness and anatomy of these works of art
