Requests must be submitted via the Google Request Form.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All figure model needs for the course should be submitted in ONE request.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faculty must submit full semester requests before the deadline communicated by the Figure Model Coordinator<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requests must be at least a 3 hour session<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ec0b88;\">Requesting Multiple Models for a Session<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multiple models may be requested for nude and clothed sessions.\u00a0 There are a limited number of models who are comfortable posing together, requests for multiple models are generally harder to guarantee. \u00a0 Model preferences for social distancing are still honored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ec0b88;\"><strong>How Approved Requests are Communicated<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>After a faculty request has been processed as <strong>Approved<\/strong> they will receive a confirmation email from the Figure Model Coordinator with a PDF of the confirmed Figure Model Schedule.\u00a0 Faculty should double check all the dates and times.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ec0b88;\"><b>Denied Requests<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scheduling the Figure Models is a complex process.\u00a0 The Figure Model Coordinator must ensure equity between the models and provide them all with a fairly even distribution of hours.\u00a0 The Figure Models also work for multiple educational institutions and require advance notice to balance their schedules. For these reasons we need to be respectful of the guidelines and uphold advanced planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some requests that <\/span><b>may<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> be denied upfront.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mid-semester model requests.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any requests made less than 30 days in advance of the requested session.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any requests for an individual model session less than 3 hours long.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ec0b88;\"><b>Cancellations &amp; Schedule Changes<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure best service we highly discourage schedule changes but we also understand emergencies happen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>If Faculty need to request an change or cancellation please follow these guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">14 days notice required to cancel a booking or request a schedule change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faculty are allowed one cancellation and one schedule change per semester.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requests for changes should be communicated via <\/span><a href=\"mailto:saic-figuremodels@artic.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">saic-figuremodels@artic.edu<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faculty should not communicate a schedule change through a figure model, all changes must be communicated directly to the Figure Model Coordinator.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If faculty are having a substitute cover a class they should alert the Figure Model Coordinator so the figure model can be\u00a0 informed. It is important to note if the substitute is a TA-A.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a TA-A is acting as a substitute the Figure Model Coordinator will inform the figure model that it will be a clothed session.\u00a0 Nude sessions are not permitted if faculty are not present, clothed sessions are permitted with a TA-A substitute.\u00a0 Figure Models have the right to refuse a request for a nude session from a TA-A, the session may be canceled if the policy is violated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Exceptions<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An exception can be made if faculty is ill and need to cancel a session last minute, they should inform the Figure Model Coordinator of the cancellation and are welcome to request a \u2018make-up session\u2019.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An exception can be made if a faculty does need a \u2018make-up session\u2019 because of a previous, unplanned model absence.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ec0b88;\"><strong>Advance Planning Timeline<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>To ensure best service Faculty should keep this timeline in mind when placing requests for their courses.
