I am a producer-performer of experimental electronic music. I deconstruct audio production methods and philosophies, yielding hybrid forms of media and performance. I use sound recording as a means of collection, continuously gathering musical, anecdotal, familiar, evocative, and confounding sonic material. In acknowledging the inevitable gap between a recording, and the sonic event it was meant to capture, there is freedom to combine and transform sounds of disparate origin. I do not seek to represent singular events, things, or places with my work, nor do I produce synthetic abstractions that exist parallel to the tangible world. Rather, my works are settings, where intervals of time and memory converge and collapse.
