Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Painting and Drawing

I am an artist who wants to figure out her social-role and delineate the world from her perspective.

As an only child who grows up with the busy parents, as a bashful student survives in a competitive education environment; as a foreigner who studies in an unacquainted culture; and, as a female who has often been despised, “bystander” is my most familiar identity to be involved in and look at this world. Hence, I always habitually keep a distance from the surrounding world. The focus of my current practice is about depicting or recreate the distance sense that is caused by the individual’s bystander perspective.
