By investigating the types of images we collect and keep in our computer, I look to examine what it means to immortalize our digital debris. I use knitting as a means to document the collaboration between the tangible and the ephemeral. Through my experimentation I’ve become increasingly fascinated with blending physical reality and digital experience.

My on-going project Punch Stream was born out of a desire to collaborate with people digitally. I love talking to strangers online. Punch Stream Season III will begin in the late summer, with the intention to amplify voices and provide a platform to anyone who wants to be heard. On my website, you can submit imagery to me in real time as I “print out” the images on my knitting machine and watch along as I stream the whole process on Twitch.
