Ines Moldavsky

Born in 1987, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Emigrated with her family to Israel at the age of three.
Graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Jerusalem, Israel and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, Israel.
Video artist and experimental filmmaker. Largely deals with subjects related to gender roles, sexuality and national identity, in particular in the context of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Combining the personal and intimate with the public and political, she creates a unique and fresh look on central issues in our current society, where the state of human relations is ever changing in an unstable political web-based world. Her films are inspired by performance art and revolve around subversive performative acts, using herself as a character, and her own identity as subject of investigation. The Men Behind The Wall her recent film won the Golden Bear Award for best short film at Berlinale 2018.
