Brian Jucas


Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Painting and Drawing

Brian Jucas (b 1988) is a painter and IT professional originally from Chicago, IL. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fordham University (Bronx, NY) in 2011 and a dual Masters degree in Global Management from Fordham University (NY, NY) and Antwerp Management School (Antwerp, BE) in 2012 and his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (expected May 2022).

Brian’s work documents observations made in the spaces he spends significant time in and engages with politics as theater, gender roles, psychology, segregation and art history. Perspective, posture, pattern and abstraction are vehicles he uses to convey emotions and space.

Brian has exhibited his work in New York and Chicago and is the founder and director of the artist run space Patient Info in the Ukrainian Village/East Humboldt Park neighborhood.
