Getong is a filmmaker, photographer, and current undergraduate student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In time-based works, he mainly works with experimental documentaries, exploring the ambiguous relationship between place, intimacy fantasy, dislocation, and memory. For photo works, he hopes to find aesthetics in the ordinary and record the character of a specific area from a solid but playful perspective.
