Jasmine Huaimin Yeh

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Sculpture

Jasmine Huaimin Yeh is an interdisciplinary artist navigating the soft and hard boundaries at the confluence of identities. Recent work calls upon the spatial polytemporality of the diaspora experience, as the act of straddling a multiplicity of cultures, geographic locations, and histories fractures and multiplies the experience of time and space. Born in Taipei and raised in Queens, New York, Yeh has received a BSVA from SUNY Purchase and is an MFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
