Jill Gao is a design artist living and working in Chicago. After completing her undergraduate studies in Taiwan, Italy, and mainland China, she is now pursuing a master’s degree in visual communication at SAIC. She is adept at projecting her gaze to different sections of life, looking up at the treetops and down at corners. She tries to dissect herself and the different groups that exist in society, exposing both, using visual language as a microphone to speak from the inside out.
