kyung makes photographs informed by their experiences studying literature and their interests in conveying intimacy in its different visual and linguistic registers. Their recent projects delve into relational portrait-making; anti-imperial constructions of memory; and queer narratives of family and grief. They are currently on Three Fires territory in Chicago.
