Originally from Buffalo, NY, I was introduced to 16mm film when I was 17, sparking a passion for the antiquated medium and the queer, surrealist, experimental films of the mid-20th century. I use both moving and still materials to fabricate images representative of my realities, fantasies, and intuitions. My work is a direct result of a surrealist approach to making that emphasizes intuition and visualization to find inspiration; I often do not know what I am making or why until it is complete, and I find every time that it has a perfectly legible voice in chorus with the rest of my work.
