Victoria is historic preservationist and architectural historian with additional experience in studio art and art history. She has a passion for working with her hands and survey field work.

Historic neon signs are valuable as place-keeping elements, cultural touchstones, and accessible public art within the communities they inhabit. However, many have been lost over the years and existing signs remain at high risk of disappearing. Through a survey of Chicago’s existing neon signs, these at-risk resources can be recognized and evaluated, maintaining their memory for years to come.
