Brianna Perry


Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Fiber and Material Studies

Brianna Perry is a visual artist and writer based in Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Africana Studies from Knox College, and is currently studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she will complete her MFA in 2024. Her paintings and prints combine direct application dyeing and discharge processes that blur scenes Black contemporary life. Brianna has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, New York, as well as local galleries in Richmond, Virginia, Chicago, Illinois and Galesburg, Illinois. She is currently preparing for a solo exhibition at Hatred 2, in Brooklyn, New York.
