Fares Alhalabi received his BFA in painting and drawing from Damascus University Of Fine Arts in 2012. He moved to the USA in 2013, one year after his graduation and two years after the war began in his home country Syria.
Alhalabi’s work, his way of thinking, and his view of the world had changed since then.
He uses the images that we receive and absorb from the news and all the media daily, and reproduce it in his own lab, because he believes that the way how we tell the story or share it or show it, will be different from person to person.
Alhalabi is a book maker as well.
That’s why his main focus in the print world for the past five years.
