Her career as a TV news journalist, fashion designer and mother of three have influenced the concepts found in her artwork. Marcus is a candidate for an MFA degree in summer of 2024 at the School for the Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Marcus also holds a master’s degree in journalism and philosophy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and journalism from the University of California at Berkeley.
