Riley Brown is an animator/painter/educator/anything. Work is almost entirely in traditional media, varying between a growing body of small-scale sketchbook paintings and illustrations which capture snippets of daily life and studies of art history piled over eachother, larger scale paintings which desire to mix virtuosic formal representation as well as deeply playful and approachable abstraction, and animated films, working frame-by-frame, drawing and painting, exploring the possible effects of motion and personal sound design to accompany them.

The future holds work in education, pursing sharing a passion for drawing/painting/animation, as well as continuing to produce a body of personal works and short films intended for festival circuits.
