Satchel Lee

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Photography

Born and raised in New York City, Satchel Lee is a photographer and filmmaker whose work can best be described as portraiture. Exploring themes of family, domesticity, memory, and time, Lee draws inspiration from the quotidian, creating offbeat images that aim to preserve this moment in time, all while asking questions around identity and existence.

Lee holds a BFA from the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
