Jenny Gheith (SAIC MA 2005) is assistant curator of painting and sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) where she is recent organized A Slow Succession with Many Interruptions, Part I and Part II (2016-2017); New Work: Park McArthur (2017); and the 2017 SECA Art Award.  She served as curator for New Work: Alessandro Pessoli (2012) and New Work: Leonor Antunes (2016) and co-curator for the 2012 SECA Art Award: Zarouhie Abdalian, Josh Faught, Jonn Herschend, and David Wilson (2013); Project Los Altos: SFMOMA in Silicon Valley, featuring commissions by Spencer Finch, Christian Jankowski, Chris Johanson, Mike Mills, Kateřina Šedá, Alec Soth, and Jessica Stockholder (2013–14). At SFMOMA she assisted with the Campaign for Art: Contemporary (2016); and Mark Bradford (2012). Previously Gheith was program director for the Society for Contemporary Art and curatorial assistant at the Art Institute of Chicago where she managed the focus exhibition series featuring artists James Bishop, Mel Bochner, Monica Bonvicini, Vincent Fecteau, Jana Gunstheimer, Richard Hawkins, Gulnara Kasmalieva and Muratbek Djumaliev, William Pope.L, and Mario Ybarra Jr.
