Danny Bredar was born in Colorado and grew up in Maryland. He attended Harvard University where he worked with Matt Saunders, Stephen Prina, Nora Schultz, Helen Mirra, Benjamin Buchloh, and the poet Jorie Graham. He joined the Lampoon in 2011, and co-founded the Utopia group in 2016. He has worked at The New Yorker, The Brooklyn Museum, and as a painting teaching assistant at Harvard. Danny attended a residency at the Vermont Studio Center last summer and had a solo show at Extase last fall. In the SAIC MFA Show, he takes part in a presentation of a six-month collaborative endeavor with the carbon copy collective.
