Michael Ryan’s class, Visible Side, came to the Sullivan Galleries to learn about the process of putting together an exhibition on September 29. They looked at both Civilization and Its Discontents and Outside Design and discussed how an exhibition moves from an idea to an actuality. One of the things they learned about was the role of the exhibition designer. Ania Jaworska designed the furniture for Outside Design, and with the team she considered colors, materials, sizes, mobility, and more to give the exhibition the aesthetic of a science classroom.
