His work has been written about extensively, and shown throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Solo exhibitions include MOMA, NY, Centre Pompidou, Paris, the Hirshhorn Museum, Pacific Film Archive, Mus\u00e9e du Cinema, Brussels and screenings in the Berlin Film Festival; the Sydney Film Festival; the London Film Festival; the Jerusalem Film Festival; Vue Sur Les Docs, Marseilles, and the Whitney Biennial. Awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, The American Academy Berlin Prize, a D.A.A.D. Berliner K\u00fcnstlerprogramm Fellowship, a Creative Capital Grant, and a NEA Media Fellowship. In 2017 he was a fellow at <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">re:work<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, International Research Institute for Work and Life Course in Global History, Humboldt University, Berlin. Eisenberg lives and works in Chicago and is a Professor at SAIC where he is also Faculty Research Fellow in the Institute of Curatorial Research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ellenrothenberg.com\"><strong>Ellen Rothenberg<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s work concerns the politics of everyday life and the formation of communities through collaborative practices, as seen in her work with the Chicago Torture Justice Memorial Project, Future Force Geo Speculators, and Chelen Amenca in Romania. Rothenberg\u2019s work has been presented in North America and Europe at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; Museum of London, Ontario; Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco; Neues Museum Weserburg, Bremen; Royal Festival Hall, London; Brukenthal National Museum, Sibiu, Romania, among others. Awards include NEA Fellowships; The Bunting Institute Fellowship, Radcliffe College, Harvard University; Illinois Arts Council Fellowships; Massachusetts Artist Foundation Fellowship; and grants from CEC Artslink, Charles Engelhard Foundation, LEF Foundation, and NEA Artists Projects.
