WHAT IS PERFECT BINDING?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Perfect Binding is a form of bookbinding in which the cover is wrapped and glued around the interior ‘body’ pages with a strong yet flexible glue. Three sides of the book are trimmed after binding to give the book clean \u201cperfect\u201d edges.<\/p>\n

All of our books are measured, cut, and bound manually, because of this we limit the quantity to 10 books per month<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n

Ideal for show catalogs, portfolios, photo albums, small run comics, and self published artists books. The downside of perfect bound books is they will never lay totally flat, which can be compounded if printed using a heavier paper (70-100#) or with small page sizes.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perfect bound books<\/span> are printed on the Laser printers. <\/span>Due to the nature of color laser printing, colors will shift throughout the day and from day to day. We are unable to exactly match prints made at separate times. <\/span>Not all visible elements are able to be printed, some vibrant colors and gradients are not able to be rendered well. Using the recommended PDF export settings & color profile (CMYK – Coated Gracol 2006)<\/a> will help get the closet possible print.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The<\/strong> minimum number of pages is 40.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The max spine length is 11″ and the max page size is 8.5×11″<\/strong><\/h4>\n
