SITE is run by a staff of six Gallery Directors and supported by various student positions. Driven by his love of community, Seth is particularly interested in administration as a creative, collaborative process to connect people and resources. Before relocating to Chicago, Seth held positions at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, the Blowing Rock Art &amp; History Museum, and the Catherine J. Smith Gallery. Since moving to the city, they have collaborated on projects with Walls Turned Sideways and Public Media Institute. He is in his fourth year as an undergrad in the Painting and Drawing department at SAIC. Eugenio&#8217;s painting practice aims to create ambiguous and desolate yet strangely familiar spaces greatly inspired by the distinct urban landscapes of Chicago. Using vast, shadowless planes of color, Eugenio paints a stillness that is navigable by foot. Hamilton is currently receiving a BFA in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in painting. Her practice is centered around themes of region, self-portraiture, and identity. Currently working toward her BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Claire focuses mostly on functional items and furniture but her sculptural practice leans themes of nature and the degradation of space. Born in Chicago and raised partly in Indiana, Claire has also spent years around horses, training them and teaching lessons, themes of rural life and a love for animals frequently inspires their work. Paige is a filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist. Paige King uses visual media to explore the internal struggles and the external family dynamics of children and young adults, specifically in young girls. The work focuses on adultification, depression, and belonging. Johnson is currently receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Johnson has an artistic practice that includes sculpture, painting, and performance that explores themes of spirituality, solidarity, and home. Johnson has a curatorial practice inspired by play, institutional critique, and the nuance of human experiences.
