<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Artist Allison Ward is seeking sound works for her upcoming exhibition at SITE Gallery, <\/span>SILENT VOICES IN SACRED SPACES<\/span><\/i>. The show confronts the intersections of femininity, queerness, and subjugation within Christianity, transforming the gallery into a liminal church environment. A space that reckons with the silences embedded in Christian tradition and the voices historically excluded, altered, and suppressed by the institution.<\/span><\/p>\n This open call invites experimental or traditional sound compositions that resonate loosely with the themes of the exhibition.
