“Here is a small selection of closed-caption descriptions of sounds from science fiction and horror films we watched between the happenings of our daily lives. Here is a fountain of speakers that spout a multi-channel sonic tapestry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the intersection of object and speculative archive, Patsula and Gutierrez invite you to gather, listen, and consider listening. Here, we attempt to decenter the ocular as the primary mode of sensorial experiencing and emphasize how sound can blur the boundaries between reality and perception. The soundscape created within the installation unfolds like a poetic narrative with the gentle murmur of water as the narrator of the inner and outer landscapes, placing the listener\/viewer inside a liminal space that teases at the thresholds between the real and imagined.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
