In this occasion Ionit Behar will be in conversation with Dignicraft, a Mexican collective that has worked along Pur\u00e9pecha families in the development of <em>La Pi\u00f1ata Colaborativa<\/em> [The Collaborative Pi\u00f1ata] a interdisciplinar body of work that tackles issues of indigenous displacement, labour, craftsmanship, and human dignity. La Pi\u00f1ata Colaborativa is one of the projects exhibited in Talking to Action, visit the exhibition before the event is suggested.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In South and Central America, artists have often been predecessors of what later in North America or Europe has been marketed as new and innovative forms of art and thought, hardly receiving credit for their highly relevant previous works.
