Alexia Leroy was born and raised in Paris, France and is currently based in Chicago, IL. She holds a MFA in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a MA in Visual Communication & Graphic Design from the Académie Charpentier, Paris France.
Leroy is a visual designer and an interdisciplinary artist who works between the media of printmaking, textile, photography and painting.
Leroy focuses on the relationship between the public and her work, using a range of various materials, playing with texture and opacity as an invitation for the viewer to touch, connect and interact with her art piece.
